I recently installed ReDJ on my organization's website, www.jewishdialogue.org. The "301" redirections that I set up seem to work well!

However, the "404" redirection feature isn't working for me. If I point my browser to a URL that doesn't exist -- for example www.jewishdialogue.org/shouldnotwork -- my homepage comes up every time.

In the "plug-in parameters" menu, I checked "yes" next to "Custom error 404 page," and then chose "2" for the "Error 404 PageID."

I edited my "htaccess" file and added the following text "ErrorDocument 404 /"

Any advice you can offer would be greatly appreciated!

Hi,
ReDJ can intercept the 404 error status and redirect to a custom URL for you. The problem in your case is that with these URLs (like the example one) you don't get a 404 error (this is due to combination of .htaccess and Joomla SEO settings). Infact, Joomla return the homepage.

Try to change configuration enabling SEF URLs into Joomla if you can.
