Hi,

Great component indeed!

I can not figure out the correct rule for this

mydomain.com/pages/521-page.html to mydomain.com/

the number 521 could be any number between 0 and 999.

I did this:

mydomain.com/pages/[0-9]{1,3}-page.html to mydomain.com/

This is not working, what am I doing wrong?

Hi Luigi,

Thank you very much, that is helping a lot.

Say, I want to redirect following url

mydomain.com/xxx/521-yyy.html to mydomain.com/

where xxx is random directory and yyy is random page.

So only redirect if there is a figure (/521- (or any other figure)) on that particular place in the url

How can I do that?

Let's try to create a "perfect" regular expression...

Try this:

From URL: ^/.*/521-.*\.html$

Thank you very much, this redirection is working like charme.

I am using now this rule ^/.*/[0-9]{1,3}-.*\.html$ and that is working fine too.

This rule is also redirecting urls like this mydomain/zzz/xxx/521-page.html and I prefer only to redirect pages mydomain/xxx/521-page.html

Should that be possible?
