I have articlegenerator installed which creates articles in Joomla from various news feeds. These articles expire after a fixed period, meaning old links indexed by the search engines will no longer display / errors appear in the sitemap validation etc etc. I am using ReDJ to catch these error pages and send to the respective category header page, however I have just noticed that EVERYTHING is getting redirected not just the articles that no longer exist.

Can anyone suggest any changes I could make to accomodate this, as the article numbers used have no reasonable order to be able to program a regexp to catch / redirect the expired ones.
